Troy Ekman's era at ESPN is set to debut this fall.

The former Dallas Cowboys star broadcaster left Fox Sports this year for the worldwide leader.

The former Cowboys star was with Fox Sports for nearly two decades.

Aikman, who officially left Fox Sports for ESPN in the spring, said making a phone call was "the hardest" of hers.

"The hardest call I had to make was to make Erin Andrews and tell her I was leaving," Ackman said.

"She's like a sister to both of us."

Meanwhile, Andrews revealed that she cried when Ackman left for ESPN.

"It all happened fast," Andrews said on his podcast. "I wasn't expecting it.

I'll be completely honest, I don't think many people were. I am known as a tough cookie.

I can deal with many things, I have dealt with many things,

But when I had to talk to both of those guys separately when they were both officially gone... oh my god, I cried.

"I don't think they both expected that from me. I'll cry right now... I told them both that I came to Fox to work with them.

I thought how great it would be to play with him."

Andrews told The Spoon that she wanted Aikman and Buck to return.

"I mean, no, I don't want those guys to leave me, are you kidding?
