Weather Delay: Wyndham Championship Suspended Due To 'Dangerous Weather Situation'

A "hazardous weather condition" has infiltrated the Greensboro, North Carolina area.

As a result, the Wyndham Championship is being suspended.

The PGA Tour Communications team announced moments earlier that the Wyndham Championship had been suspended at 4:15 p.m. ET.

Dangerous weather has knocked in the area.

"The third round of the Wyndham Championships has been postponed at 4:15 pm due to hazardous weather conditions,"

The PGA Tour Communications Team announced.

Along with lightning, heavy rain is also seen in the area.

Courtney Kelly said, "Round 3 rain delay in Wyndham."

"Another season delay in Wyndham.

The leader was number 12," wrote Greer Smith.

It is unclear when or if games will resume in Greensboro this evening.

At present, a sporadic storm is brewing in the area.
