Steelers Player Exits Preseason Game, Carted Off Field With Potential Injury

We have related news to share out of Pittsburgh.

A Steelers player was taken off the field with an injury during tonight's preseason game.

Steelers safety Carl Joseph is out versus tonight's preseason game.

Seattle Seahawks with potentially serious injury.

At the start of the preseason exhibition, Joseph was seen with a boot on his right foot while he was taken off the field and brought back to the locker room.

Hopefully it's nothing serious, but it doesn't look promising.

"The KDKA broadcast is showing that Carl Joseph has been removed from the car. He had a good summer.

This is a tough blow. #Steelers," said Alex Kozora.

"Hey man, Carl Joseph is being cast in an air cast.

He's useless. There was a strong camp," said Zack Seledonia.

If serious, it would be a terrible development for both Carl Joseph and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was reportedly camping a pretty good so far.

Joseph is currently featured on the Steelers' depth charts as a third-string safety.

He was struggling to make the team's last active roster.
