Seth Curry Explains Why He Doesn't Want To Play With Steph

Despite playing and bouncing around in the NBA for the better part of a decade

League in process, Brooklyn Nets guard Seth Curry has yet to join

His brother Steph Curry on the Golden State Warriors.

In a recent interview, Seth was asked if the idea of playing with his elder brother ever came to his mind.

Seth dismissed the idea, saying he would prefer to "do his own thing".

"I've thought about it as people bring it up, but for me personally,

I enjoy staying away from him, trying to make my own way and do my own thing,

Seth told Warriors insider Monte Poole via NBC Sports.

The closest the Curry brothers ever got to play on the same team was probably Seth's rookie season.

He signed a non-guaranteed contract with

In eight years, Seth Curry has played for more than half a dozen NBA teams.

However, he has been steadily getting better in recent years.

Seth got the most playing time in the 2021-22 season

His career and his per-game average almost everyone saw career-high.

He will never say "never" as far as playing with his brother is concerned.

But he indicated that he would prefer to beat Steph rather than play with her:

"You never know what the future holds," said Seth Curry. "I'm not against it,

But it's definitely not my preferred choice to be on the same team as he definitely is right now.

I also love competing against him and trying to beat the best."
