An elbow sore kept Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford out of three of the Rams' president games last month.

But how is he feeling ahead of Thursday's season opener?

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Rams head coach Sean McVay made a definitive statement on Stafford's health.

He declared that there would be "no hesitation" and no limits on Stafford,

No matter how many times he has to throw it against the Buffalo Bills.

"He'll be ready to go," McVay said.

This will surely be welcome news for Ram,

Who would probably prefer not to start John Wolford or Bryce Perkins against the No. 1 defense in football.

Los Angeles Rams paid a big price for bringing Matthew Stafford into the fold,

And the rewards were immediate as he set several team records on his way to winning Super Bowl LVI.

After the season, the Rams rewarded Stafford with a four-year, $160 million contract extension with a $120 million guarantee.

and a $63 million signing bonus.

Clearly the rams have full confidence in the world that Stafford will bring them back to the Promised Land at least once more.

Stafford's first Test of the season, however, will be his biggest.

The Buffalo Bills are considered the favorites to win Super Bowl LVII and claim the top defense from last year

A defense that now includes former Bills linebacker Von Miller.

Will Matthew Stafford be fit enough to lead the Rams to victory?
