Russell Wilson will return home to begin his Denver Broncos career.

After a decade with the Seattle Seahawks, the quarterback would make his Broncos debut at Lumen Field.

Looking at his illustrious stint with the team, nothing would be more than a warm welcome for Wilson.

However, some supporters are never satisfied.

A Seahawks fan was seen outside the stadium with a Wilson jersey with his name taped on and "traitor" written instead.

Practically no one on Twitter agreed with the assessment.

Many argued that this person was furious at the wrong person, while wondering how a fan could harbor ill feelings toward the franchise icon.

Touchdown and quarterback victories in Seahawks history.

He led them to their only Super Bowl title.

The former third-round pick never publicly solicited trade.

In fact, the Seahawks reportedly tried to deal with Wilson on several occasions before sending him to the Broncos this off-season.

Yet he never said anything bad about the organization while leaving.

There is no rational reason why anyone can consider him a traitor.

Let's hope there's an unfortunate outsider in the fan crowd waiting to please Wilson otherwise,

At least until the Monday Night Football game starts at 8:15 p.m. ET.
