Ahead of the second week of the college football season, Robert Griffin III is taking a look back at Week 1 to find the sport's "unsung hero."

On Friday, RGIII revealed its list of the top five "Unsung Heroes of Week 1".

Jackson State quarterback Chedur Sanders.

The son of Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders, Shadur Sanders threw for 300 yards and five touchdowns in a 59-3 victory over rival Florida A&M.

He did so in the midst of a regional water shortage that has brutalized the state of Mississippi.

RGIII's top five are Michigan State linebacker Jacoby Windmon, UNLV wide receiver Ricky White,

Wisconsin is trailing Brelon Allen and Washington security Asa Turner.

As an FCS player, the Shedeur Sanders and Jackson State Tigers don't play against the best that big-name programs have to offer.

But for a sophomore who plays it well, his stock as a college football quarterback has skyrocketed.

Sanders made waves by moving to Jackson State, even though he was a four-star prospect with offers from major FBS shows.

For now though, Sanders is a rising star in college football. And while he can't fight for the FCS national title while playing for HBCU,

May he get a bright future in the professionals ahead of him.

Is Shady Sanders the lowest rated player in college football?
