The Raiders will be shorthanded against the Titans this Sunday, that's for sure.

Earlier this Friday, the Raiders dismissed wide receiver Hunter Renfro.

He entered concussion protocol after last weekend's overtime loss to the Cardinals.

As if that wasn't bad enough, it was announced that the Raiders running back Josh Jacobs would not travel to Nashville with the rest of the team.

He is currently battling an illness.

Despite not traveling with the rest of the team, Jacobs is listed as a suspect for this Sunday's matchup.

If all goes well, he may go to Nashville on Saturday.

Jacobs has missed the last two drills for the Raiders. Brandon Bolden,

Amir Abdullah and Zameer White are handling the running back positions during his absence.

In two games this season, Jacobs has 126 rushing yards on 29 carries.

He also has two receptions for 28 yards.

The rest of the Raiders backfield, meanwhile,

There are only four joint carries through week 2.

A final update on the status of Jacobs Week 3 should be available as the kickoff inches closer.
