Ravens Announce Practice Report For Running Back J.K. Dobbinsm..

Baltimore Ravens JK Dobbins back to his backfield.

Dobbins missed all of the 2021 season after suffering from a torn ACL in late August last year.

The running back is getting closer to his comeback, but that may not be the case this Sunday.

According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Dobbins was a limited practice

Participants for the second straight day.

Lamar Jackson tipped his teammate's Week 1 status, telling reporters on Wednesday that he hopes to see Dobbins back "in a couple of weeks."

"He's very eager to play," Jackson said. "I think he's hearing the noise outside.

He is ready to go. I am ready for him to go."

Per team reporter Clifton Brown, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Dobbins is "climbing really quickly."

He plans to decide on his backfield plans by the end of the week

Gus Edwards, also recovering from an ACL tear, will start the season on the physically disabled display list

And remember at least the first four weeks.

He could once again leave the Ravens short-handed to run back in September.

The Ravens signed Mike Davis as an insurance substitute earlier this off-season,

And they've also recently added Kenyan Drake.

If Dobbins is sidelined for Baltimore's Week 1 matchup with the New York Jets, they will both compete with Justice Hill for rep.
