Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minka Fitzpatrick will not be available for the start of training camp following an unfortunate accident.

According to Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin,

Fitzpatrick was recently on vacation when he fell off a bicycle, injuring his wrist.

Fortunately, the problem is not serious, but the pain and discomfort is enough for the team to play safely.

Fitzpatrick, who made back-to-back Pro Bowls and earned consecutive First Team All-Pro honors in 2019 and 2020,

Signed a four-year extension with the Steelers this off-season worth more than $73 million.

The former Miami Dolphins first-round pick made a career-high 124 tackles,

Defended in 2021 with two interceptions and seven passes.

Fitzpatrick has been pretty durable in the NFL so far,

Only one regular season game is missing in four seasons.

Hope he is back soon from wrist problem now,

And thankfully, the fall from the bike did not cause him any further damage.
