The PGA Tour isn't messing around when it comes to LIV golf.
According to Sports Illustrated's Bob Garrig,
The PGA Tour is threatening to impose some restrictions on Japan Golf Tour players who compete in LIV golf events.
Harig writes that the move helps explain why some of the Japanese players who attended the last LIV golf event in New Jersey are not in Boston this week.
Any player who has competed in a LIV golf event this year is ineligible for all events on all PGA Tour-sanctioned tours through the end of 2022.
No word on whether this will still count for 2023
This is another way for the PGA Tour to distance itself from the LIV Tour.
This is a situation that is not going to go away anytime soon.
