Packers Fans Encouraged By Latest Video Of Wide Receiver Allen Lazard

Green Bay Packers fans are eagerly waiting for the return of wide receiver Alan Lazard.

Hopefully, it's coming soon. Lazard (ankle) returned to practice on Wednesday, albeit on a limited basis.

He practiced in limited capacity again on Thursday,

But a video shared by the Packers on Twitter showed the fifth-year pro moving smoothly into individual exercises.

Lazard, who caught eight touchdown passes in 2021,

He was out of action two weeks earlier after a defensive lineman put his foot down in practice.

Yesterday, Lazard told reporters he would probably make a game-time decision for Sunday night's matchup against the Chicago Bears.

However, he also indicated that he expects a strong return to the field when he is ready.

"I felt very positive, very strong about my potential, and still about to move forward for the rest of the year," Lazard said.

"Obviously, (it was) just a minor accident and (I) would be back on track from here."

Green Bay could certainly use Lazard on the periphery.

And practice squad promotion Juwan Winfree combined the Minnesota Vikings for only 120 yards on 12 receptions in a Week 1.
