Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Harts was at the end of a nasty late hit out-of-bounds during Friday's preseason game against the New York Jets.

But Hurts praised his head coach for his handling of the situation.

Speaking to the media, Eagles head coach Nick Siriani praised Hurts for how he maintained his composure after the hit.

Siriani said Hurts has shown that he is indifferent to difficult situations - no matter what the circumstances.

"I thought Jalen said it perfectly," Siriani said, via ProFootballTalk.

"He said it perfectly, how did he say it? He said, 'I'm late. He raised the flag. I left.

I am not tripping. right back at Ya. Exactly said.

"And that's who she is. She's Jalen. It doesn't matter if she throws an interception or I'm screaming in her face;

In Washington people fall off stands and almost break his leg,

He's very surprised and that's a good quality as a quarterback because he's going to be surprised in the first quarter,

He's going to be surprised in the second quarter, third, fourth. That's a great quality in a quarterback."

Jalen Hurts led the Philadelphia Eagles to the playoffs in his first year as a starter.

1 rushing attack in the league last year, he was the driving force behind the Eagles, leading the team to rushing yards.

Expectations are going to be high for Hearts, Siriani and Eagles again this year.
