A fire broke out outside RFK Stadium on Tuesday.

Buzzfeed's Ellie Hall posted a photo of smoke billowing out of the building,

Which hosted Washington Commanders, Citizens and DC United.

According to the DC Fire and EMS Twitter page, the fire department "detected multiple fires" inside the facility. No injuries have been reported.

The audience reacted when the situation came to light.

"RFK will only go if he leaves us on his own terms," wrote USA TODAY's Emily Olsen on Twitter.

Well it's a metaphor for a lot of things," said CNN anchor Kasie Hunt. "Praying won't hurt anyone."

Is this a sign of a new Washington sports team?" NBC News' Gary Grumbach asked.

Black smoke means that the commanders chose a new boss," wrote Rob Goldberg of Bleacher Report.

Opened in 1961, RFK Stadium has clearly seen better days. From the looks of the video, it hasn't gotten much maintenance during years of inactivity.

Hope everyone around is fine after the fire.
