NFL World Reacts To Pete Carroll's Quarterback Admission

With the 2022 NFL season just two weeks away, the Seattle Seahawks are no closer to naming their starting quarterback.

During the team's last pre-season game, Geno Smith saw a lot of action as Drew Locke missed the competition due to COVID-19. now,

Entering the final Preseason game, Locke is expected to get the Lions' representative share.

To this day, however, Carroll says the competition between the two is "even."

"We can have two numbers," he said.

Naturally, fans had some jokes after Carroll's comments.

"Pete is right. Number two in next year's draft.

Another fan said, "We haven't made progress in the 'neither really differentiated ourselves' part of the QB fight."

"Ah yes the old 'we have two starting QBs' notion.

Clearly fans are not thrilled with the Seahawks' decision to enter the 2022 season with Smith and Locke as the team's quarterbacks.

Perhaps Carroll & Co. is playing the long game and looking forward to top picks in 2023.
