NFL World Reacts To Justin Herbert Injury News

Justin Herbert has fractured his rib cartilage.
The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback is listed as a day-to-day by head coach Brandon Staley.
Herbert suffered the injury late in the Chargers' Thursday Night Football matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Remained third-year quarterback for the remainder of the competition,
Throwing an incredible fourth-quarter touchdown to take the Chiefs' lead to three.
Despite Herbert's heroic efforts, the Chargers fell 27–24.
The NFL world took to Twitter to react to the news of the injury for the young star.
One fan wrote, "Day to day with broken ribs. What a crazy man football is."
"Style needs to be fired to get back in the game.
Could have been made much, much worse," said another.
"I mean as he was curling into a ball when he was barely touched, it was obvious.
Herbert is hard as nails so I know he only did it because he was in severe pain."
With an injury sustained during last night's game,
Herbert has a few extra days to recover ahead of next Sunday's Chargers Week 3 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The team will assess Herbert next week to determine whether he will be ready for practice on Wednesday.
Herbert finished last night's game with 334 yards, three touchdowns and a costly 99-yard pick six.
