At 45 years old, Tom Brady is still the league's leading quarterback option—at least according to NFL.com.
On Wednesday, NFL.com released its annual QB Index ahead of the 2022 season.
Brady sits at the top of the list at No. 1 going into his 23rd NFL campaign.
Waking up at the end of the night, I calculated that I lived in 14 apartments/houses since Tom Brady was selected in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
How many of us have watched our kids grow up in the jungle of pro football during their phenomenal waltzes? at 45,
Brady is coming off an ageism-busting campaign that saw him whip out a league-high 719 pass
and tops the list with 5,316 yards and 43 touchdowns.
He then went into the sunset before returning at sunrise to accept the challenge of the 23rd season. Tampa Bay's collision line is problematic,
But there is no doubt the strength of Brady's arm in an attack that plans to transmit it from wire to wire.
As for a hint of off-the-field turbulence - "I'm 45, man.
There's a lot going on," Brady said recently — is there anyone we trust more to put the noise away when it's Sunday mornings?
Despite his status as the oldest player in the NFL,
Brady is coming off a fresh start to one of the best statistical seasons of his career - leading the league in completions (485), passing yards (5,316) and touchdowns (43).
Brady briefly retired after the 2021 season before announcing his decision to return less than a month later.
Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes rounded out NFL.com's top-five quarterbacks.
Brady and the Bux will begin their 2022 season with a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
