ESPN NBA insider and former NBA executive Bobby Marks took a sharp turn during Tuesday's episode of The NBA on ESPN.

The former Nets assistant GM believes Steph Curry to be the second best player in NBA history.

"I think seeing him during these playoffs, certainly during that final..."

Marx explained. "I saw Jordan at his peak in the '90s. Curry reminds me a lot of that aggressive manner where he threatens to beat you in so many different ways.

I think we have about three or four more years of Prime Curry.

"He's the second best player ever."

While some Warriors fans agreed with Marx, much of the NBA world disagreed.

One fan wrote, "This guy shouldn't be allowed to talk about basketball again..

"ESPN is hiring anyone. Might be the worst time ever," said another.

"What is he doing ... blasphemy," said another.

Curry went on to resume his career with his fourth NBA title and the first Finals MVP award last season,

But to say that he has eclipsed the career achievements of a player like LeBron James is too far-fetched.

The greatest sharpshooter of all time is one of the most influential basketball players of all time.

But he had a way to go before he entered the GOAT conversation.

What do you understand by Marx about this?
