For 40 days, Mike Evans was the answer to the trivia question about who caught Tom Brady's final NFL touchdown pass.

Again, Brady didn't retire, which means he's got a few dozen more touchdown tosses to come this fall.

Evans will certainly catch his fair share.

In an interview with KPRC's Ari Alexander, Evans admitted that Brady had told her before he announced she was back.

In a series of cryptic text messages, Brady told Evans that "there will be more touchdowns in our future."

"I just think he's trolling me," Evans told Alexander.

"So a few hours later, it was announced that he was coming back and that was it.

"I didn't think he was really coming back. I thought he was just playing."

Including post-season games, Evans has caught 30 touchdowns from Brady in the past two seasons alone.

He has become Brady's favorite target, especially in the red zone.

Of those 30 points, 21 came from outside 20 yards or less.
