Triple H is fighting hard up the recruitment trail as the acting CCO of WWE.

And he's even reaching out to an NBA star to get in the ring.

Sending an open invitation to future Hall of Fame center Dwight Howard to sign on with the company.

"When he says, 'Hey, I want to give this a shot,' he's got my phone number.

He just has to call me, and we'll see what happens," Triple H told The Sporting News.

"If She's Ready To Grind And Drive People Like Logan Paul And Bad Bunny"

And Tyson is ready to cast Fury, so let's go."

"It's a funny thing. Dwight, in the conversation we had, 'I really want to do this, I'm serious.'

I really want to do that,'" he continued. "But we hear it a lot.

And it's the difference between saying, 'I want to do this,'

And grinding and working to get there."

Howard is still an NBA free agent after his third stint with the Lakers last season.

He attended a WWE tryout in Nashville back in July and was pretty entertaining by all accounts.

At 6-foot-10 and a chiseled 265-pounder, he certainly looks the part.

Speaking on a potential wrestling career after basketball, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year said:

I'm not coming into this thing as 'I'm Dwight Howard, a basketball player.

This is a whole new ball game for me.

I want to be. I want to learn from all these people and be the best wrestler if it goes this way.

Where I wrestle and just enjoy it.

I mean, you only get one life, you know?
