Look: Top Running Back Cancels Major Recruiting Trip

In 2023, Reuben Owens made a verbal commitment to Louisville the previous summer,
But is still loved by some of the major powerhouses in and around her native Texas.
Owens is touring some of the major events this fall.
But a meeting he was set to have is no longer happening.
Taking to Instagram, Owens announced that he would be canceling his trip to Texas A&M.
"I'm not going any more," he wrote in response to a tweet announcing his upcoming trip to College Station.
The reason for Owens' cancellation is unclear.
Some have speculated that the Aggies' shock defeat to the Appalachian state played a factor, while others think that their family's ability to accompany them is prompting a change in plans.
Reuben Owens is a top-runner who looks to have a rough run on opponents in 2021.
Last year he had 46 touchdowns for 2,989 yards and 248 carries.
Owens earned District MVP honors for the second year in a row.
Running back is El Campo, also a track star, claiming a 10.68-second 100-meter dash last spring.
It should be no surprise that Texas A&M is joined by the likes of Alabama, Texas, TCU,
and Arkansas on top of Louisville.

But 247Sports No. 18 overall player and top running back in the country will not be one of them.
