Look: Patrick Mahomes Has A Warning For Fantasy Managers

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have led countless fantasy football managers to glory.

The star quarterback has piled up absurd numbers early in his NFL career.

All the better for fantasy gamers, they mainly funneled the goals of Tyrek Hill and Travis Kelce.

While Mahomes still has his tight end in tow, Kansas City sent Hill to the Miami Dolphins.

That's why drafters aggressively chase key receivers hoping to come out as Mahomes' favorite target.

However, Mahomes warned otherwise.

Herbie Theop advised The Kansas City Star that he would rely on "a different guy every week".

This isn't the best news for those banking on JuJu Smith-Schuster's bounce-back campaign,

who signed this off-season deal to "Prove It" for one year. Same goes for Marquez Valdes-Scantling,

Mekole Hardman, or the highly publicized rookie Skye Moore.

Again, Hill is blanking out 159 goals, so Mahomes doesn't need to redistribute them all to one player in order to promote useful fantasy options.

At least one or two are likely to end up as meaningful contributors.

Unfortunately, if Mahomes' prediction is correct,

Fantasy managers won't be able to rely on any of them to deliver consistently on a weekly basis.
