Clearly, Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy isn't afraid to hint at the team's next move.

Asked Wednesday whether the Cowboys would add a seasoned offensive lineman, McCarthy replied, "Stay tuned."

At least the timing of this comment by .McCarthy is interesting.

ESPN's Todd Archer reported Wednesday that Jason Peters will be visiting the Cowboys for a workout.

If things go well, maybe he will sign with "Team of America".

Peters, 40, made his 15-game debut for the Chicago Bears last season.

Prior to that stint, he spent more than a decade with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Even though Peters is no longer an All-Pro offensive lineman, he could, in theory,

Give the Cowboys some much-needed depth in the left tackle.

Earlier this month, the Cowboys lost Tyrone Smith to an avulsion fracture.

He is expected to miss an extended period of time.

First round pick Tyler Smith is expected to start with a left tackle for the Cowboys.

However, he is battling an ankle injury.
