LeBron James is a proud father who cheers on his son's attempt to follow in his footsteps.

He also has 51.7 million Twitter followers to see the support.

Hoop Central's Twitter account shared the highlights courtesy of Bronie James's overtime.

The 17-year-old is playing basketball at Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles, hoping to one day join his father in the NBA.

Brawny even provoked his father with a Cheesdown disapproval during an AAU event hosted by St. Louis.

Vincent-St. Mary High School, LeBron's alma mater.

According to 247Sports Composite, Brawny is the number 47 player in the recruiting class of 2023.

He has drawn interest from Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina.

If Bronie makes it to the NBA, the team that drafted him could also add an all-time legend.

Earlier this year, LeBron told Jason Lloyd of The Athletic that he wanted to end his NBA career together with his son.

"My last year will be played with my son," James said. "Wherever Bronie is, that's where I'll be.

I will do whatever it takes to play with my son for a year. It's not about the money at the time."

This scenario won't happen until 2024 at the earliest, but it will mark an epic end for one career and the start for another.
