Bubba Wallace has had instant success driving the number 45 vehicle.

In early September, 23XI Racing decided to have Wallace drive the Toyota car in place of Kurt Busch,

Which is sidelined after suffering symptoms of concussion in July.

On Sunday, his second event since the Switch, Wallace won the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at Kansas Speedway.

He dedicated his victory to Bush, who drove the No. 45 car to first place on the same track in May.

"Decided to drive it back to Kansas," Wallace wrote on Twitter.

"Kurt Bush, this is for you bro."

Bush responded to Wallace's tweet, saying, "One team, one dream."

He also posted a video reacting to his teammate's victory.

"He's my boy," Bush said.

"Way to go Bubba. Proud of you my friend... We're winners again in Kansas."

Wallace has now finished six in the top-10 in his last nine Cup Series races after his second career win.

While he did not qualify for the playoffs on the drivers' side,

He is now chasing the owners' championship using Busch's empty vehicle.

He would like to continue the magic at Bristol Motor Speedway this Saturday night.
