Last Saturday, Texas quarterback Quinn Ivers suffered an SC sprain in his left shoulder.

It was announced that his recovery period is four to six weeks.

While it hasn't been confirmed yet, it looks like Ivers is well ahead of his initial recovery timeline.

According to Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman, Evers is on the field for Texas' pre-game workout this Saturday evening.

Davis is told that Ivers will return sooner than people expected.

If that's true, that's great news for Longhorn.

Ivers looked sharp against Alabama before going down with a shoulder injury.

He had 134 passing yards in the first quarter alone.

Hudson Card took over at quarterback after Ivers walked into the locker room.

Sophistication completed 14-in-22 pass attempts for 158 yards.

While playing a show of Texas cards seems comfortable enough,

The offense will most likely depend on Bijon Robinson running back.

Texas will face UTSA tonight.

This game can take the form of a shootout.

We'll see if Card and Robinson can hold the fortress during Ewers' absence.
