At one point this year, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshan Watson was facing 24 civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct during massage therapy sessions.

Except for one of his charges, all have agreed to a financial settlement.

The only accuser to have an uncompromising relationship with Watson spoke about her experience in an exclusive to The Daily Beast.

Her name is Lauren Baxley.

Baxley left his job as a massage therapist in May this year.

She revealed that she is not feeling safe since June of 2020.

The main reason Baxley declined settlement offers from Watson's camp is that he has shown no remorse throughout the process.

From The Daily Beast:

"I have rejected all settlement offers, in part because they have not included remorse and any sincere acknowledgment of wrongdoing,

Nor have they included any promise of rehabilitative treatment," Baxley wrote.

"Watson still refuses to admit that he made indecent attacks against me and harassed me.

Whatever settlement offer he has made, his evil deeds have been rejected,

And I know that unless there is official intervention, he will continue his destructive behavior.

"Because Watson repeatedly attacked women, institutions, and individuals who stand in the present

And he should also be held accountable for appointing him."

Watson accepted a disciplinary settlement with the NFL this Thursday.

He will be suspended for the first 11 matches of the 2022 season.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Watson was asked why he accepted the settlement if he claimed he was innocent.

I have always stood by my innocence and have always maintained that I have never assaulted or insulted anyone

But at the same time I have to continue to move on with my life and career," Watson said.

Watson is eligible to play against the Houston Texans on December 4.
