It looks like fans will have to wait at least another week to see Lamar Jackson for the first time.

During his Saturday press conference, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh shared that the former MVP will not be on the field for Thursday's preseason opener against the Titans.

We will not play Lamar...

Lamar won't play, Mark [Andrews] won't play.

Beginning of those experience... Justin Houston, Marcus Williams ain't going to play,

Marlon [Humphrey] is not going to play... just to give you an example of people who are not going to play.

Jackson has been the subject of many discussions this off-season.

The latest of which is the extra weight of the once slender QB. Speaking to NFL Network earlier this week,

Lamar said he pounded to around 230 after playing at 205-208 pounds for most of his career.
