The Utah Jazz is reportedly ready to entertain potential offers for star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell,

Per ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

Jazz previously closed any inquiries related to its franchise centerpiece.

Voz says the asking price for Michelle is "steep"

But the team may be more willing to make a move now that All-Star center Rudy Gobert has signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

"Change is inevitable in the NBA... things evolve in the NBA, so I can't sit here and say that anyone is [untouchable] ... there's no intention [to trade Mitchell] at all, "

Jazz general manager Justin Zanick said during a recent interview.

The NBA world took to Twitter to react to Mitchell's possible departure.

"I was equally skeptical. Leak saying that Jazz was going to make a contestant around Donovan Mitchell sounded like chest-pounding at the time.

Thankfully, common sense won out," wrote one fan.

"Supposedly lol they didn't do anything to build around Michelle, they were always going to take him forward.

Miami has a better shot at him than KD," said another.

"Mitchell is a very good player, but IMO he is not a franchise centerpiece because he mostly plays on one side of the ball," said another.

Mitchell is coming out of his fifth season and third-straight All-Star selection in Utah.

He averaged 25.9 points and 5.3 assists per game last season.
