Ever since LIV Golf began hunting PGA Tour players,
The two sides have had a particularly contentious relationship.
That animosity is not going to go away anytime soon.
In fact, it could be even worse if what golf writer Alan Shipnk has been hearing for a long time turns out to be true.
Shipnk tweeted Monday night that tomorrow's meeting of the PGA Tour players has the potential to be explosive.
"I'm hearing that tomorrow's PGA Tour player meeting with regards to LIV is going to be a blast," Shipnk said.
"Supposedly, everything is on the table, from major championship boycotts to a major compromise on Monahan's future.
and Tiger MF. Woods is expected to fly in to provide counseling/bullying/Kajol."
Is Shipunk threatening players with boycotts if LIV golfers are allowed to continue playing in major tournaments?
The PGA Tour does not control the majors,
But organizations that do this will not be happy if such a scenario comes to the fore.
Also, it clearly doesn't seem like the group is happy with commissioner Jay Monahan.
Tuesday should be fun.
