California governor seeks public clarification from UCLA

Its move from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten.

UCLA and USC are leaving the Pac-12 for the Big Ten.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom wants a public explanation from the Bruins for his decision.

"The first duty of every public university is to the people"

UCLA may come further about its decision,

But the move is a very simple one that comes down to one thing: money.

Compared to other conferences going forward.

"Umm so Newsom doesn't know anything

About college football or TV deals," tweeted one fan.

Another fan said, "They're broken... Now they won't be."

USC and UCLA are expected to join the Big Ten in the next few years.
