Former Navy Star QB Has Reportedly Retired From NFL

The New England Patriots placed the 25-year-old wide receiver on the reserve/retired list on Friday.
He was a "longshot" to making the Pats' 2022 roster, according to NFL insider Mike Rees.

He led the Navy to an 11–2 record and Autozone Liberty Bowl victory behind 2,017 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns.
He also recorded 1,084 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns in the program's run-first offense.
Perry currently ranks second on the Navy's all-time running yard list with 4,354 career yards.
Perry was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 2020 draft with a seventh-round pick.
He was drafted as a wide receiver, a departure from his former QB position.
In his rookie season, he logged nine receptions for 92 yards and one touchdown.
Although the Dolphins hoped to re-sign him to the practice squad,
Perry was claimed a waiver by the Patriots ahead of the 2021 season.
They did not record any figures in New England before its release in November.
He finished the 2021 season on the Saints practice roster and signed
A reserve/future contract with the Patriots ahead of this offseason.
