Dick Vitale wants Kentucky to include one of the best Big Ten basketball programs in its non-convention program.

ESPN college basketball commentators are calling for Kentucky to compete with Indiana because the two school years played all the time.

This is a quality pre-conf. Matchup btw Kentucky and Gonzaga.

No brains now, coach John Calipari has to reunite with Mike Woodson

And they must agree that Indiana & Kentucky will play," Vitale tweeted.

The two schools have met 57 times, although Kentucky has won 32 of them.

They played every year from 1969–2012 before the series was abruptly stopped.

If the series does resume, there's a good chance Vitale will have a chance to call that game because ESPN owns some of the rights to college basketball television.
