ESPN's Dan Orlowski has his eye on a lot of quarterbacks this college football season.

But one quarterback has really caught his interest.

Ahead of his call for Saturday's Florida-Utah game, Orlowski spoke to fellow analyst Paul Finebaum

and placed Florida's Anthony Richardson up with the Gators' most iconic quarterback: Tim Tebow.

Orlowski said Richardson was "that special player" and "the most interesting prospect in that position" throughout the season.

He believes Richardson has all the traits of an elite quarterback.

"He is physically Florida's most talented quarterback since Tim Tebow," Orlowski said Saturday via Down South.

"He's that special for a player.

I totally think he is the most interesting prospect in that position in college football this year.

Because that's what we see now dominating NFL quarterback play on Sundays.

Big, fast, powerful, strong, fearless, great thrower of football. Incredibly bright, can beat you with your hands, your mind and your feet."

Anthony Richardson played seven games last season, completing six touchdowns with 59-cent passes for 529 yards and five interceptions.

He added another 401 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

But he was a four-star prospect coming out of high school in 2020.

Now that he's a starter, maybe he'll really start to come into his own as an elite passer.

Do you agree with Dan Orlovsky? Is he worthy of Tim Tebow's praise?
