Cowboys Activate Wide Receiver Before Practice On Thursday

The Dallas Cowboys have activated rookie Adraft free agent wide receiver Dontario Drummond from the PUP list.

Drummond, who had a breakout season at Ole Miss in 2021,

Now in the training camp you will get a chance to impress the coaching staff of Cowboys.

Given that the team is a bit shorthand in the wide receiver position, Drummond may be able to push for a roster spot if he plays well enough.

After posting 38 receptions, 605 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during the 2019 and 2020 seasons at Ole Miss,

Drummond exploded in 2021 for 76 catches, 1,028 yards and eight touchdowns.

Right now, the only obvious locks seem to be CeeDee Lamb to make the Cowboys' roster comprehensive,

In the third round of 2022 pick Jalen Tolbert and Michael Gallup, who are recovering from ACL surgery.

Veteran James Washington will lose time after breaking his leg, except for sixth-year pro Noah Brown,

Choose Simi Fehoko, Drummond and others to fight in the camp in the fifth round of 2021.
