It seems that every NFL season at least one team makes a big leap.

Last year, the Cincinnati Bengals went from the basement of AFC North as Super Bowl contenders.

Radio host Colin Cowherd recently revealed his picks about which team will make a big jump this season.

Believe it or not, Cowherd is very confident in the Miami Dolphins.

"The first two years, [there was] a lot of unrest, agitation, trade rumours with Tua," Cowherd said.

"I think the Dolphins did it right. They turned from quarterback-friendly staff to a coach, they spent money on weapons.

I think this year the dolphins are going to take a big leap.

I feel [like] they are a playoff team."

Miami strengthened their passing attack by signing Cedric Wilson Jr. and trading for Tyrek Hill.

If Tua Tagovailoa can show some improvement this fall, the dolphins should have the necessary firepower to make some noise in the AFC.

Of course, if first-year head coach Mike McDaniel is up for prime time.

The Dolphins will begin this regular season at home against the New England Patriots.

This will be a preliminary test for Tagovailoa and the rest of the gang
