Patrick Mahomes had one of the best games of his career yesterday with a dominating win over the Arizona Cardinals.

But he left the game due to a wrist injury, which worried Chiefs fans.

However, Monday's news was very encouraging.

He was listed as a full participant in the team's activities on his first injury report of the week.

Speaking to the media after the game, Mahomes said the X-rays on his wrist were negative.

He said it's the kind of injury that "you have to be able to play for" as an NFL quarterback.

Mahomes had 360 passing yards and five touchdowns in Kansas City's 44-21 win over the Cardinals.

It was the best performance by a quarterback on Sunday.
