Cleveland Browns receiver Anthony Schwartz is hoping to avoid a serious injury.

According to May Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Schwartz walked out of the practice area with a left knee injury.

They are set to be further evaluated with an MRI or some other test.

Schwartz did not appear to be limping off the field, according to Cabot.

This is the second time he has suffered a pre-season injury.

Last season, he suffered a hamstring injury during a rookie minicamp and this prompted him to return to the season.

He ended the 2021 season with 10 receptions for 135 yards and one touchdown.

He was a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft after playing three seasons at Auburn.

Hopefully, the injury is not serious as he is expected to be involved more in the offense this season.
