The Atlanta Braves reportedly acquired veteran close Iglesias from the Los Angeles Angels in last-minute trading ahead of the 2022 deadline.

The Braves brought the third year of seasoned veterans Jesse Chavez and Tucker Davidson right in exchange for Iglesias.

The MLB world took to Twitter to react to this business news.

"OMG thank god he couldn't see her taking a mound and blowing up an advantage for us once again,"

One Angels fan wrote.

A Braves fan said, "Will miss Jesse Chavez's old man in the 6th round but like this deal."

"Tucker what I got didn't see Jesse Chavez doing business again," added another.

Through 39 matches and 35.2 innings this season, Iglesias has a 4.04 ERA and a 2-6 win-loss record.

The 32-year-old right-handed batsman struggled in his second year with Los Angeles despite a solid Year 1 in 2021.

Davidson posted a 6.46 ERA through four matches and 15.1 innings which the Braves equipped for this season.

Chavez has the better workload in Atlanta, notched 2,11 ERAs through 31 matches and 38.1 innings.
