Alabama and Texas fans have probably had their upcoming swag surrounded by literal years on their calendars.

But only now are they finally going to have a chance to bet on the spread.

It has probably been known for many years that Alabama will be the preferred road for the sport, no matter the position between them.

But now with Week 1 in the books, the spread has finally come to an end.

According to Longhorn insider Anwar Richardson,

BetOnline.ag has made Alabama the favorite title in the game by 20 points.

This shouldn't be too much of a surprise as Alabama almost always emerges as the overwhelming favorite against non-SEC teams.

But given that Texas is at home and will likely be ranked in the top 25 for the game,

Fans may still be a little insulted.

Some Longhorn fans have already expressed as much in the comments

Texas Longhorn fans have been itching for the sport for more than a decade.

Their last meeting was the infamous 2010 BCS National Championship game.

Longhorns star quarterback Colt McCoy's first-quarter injury forced new Garrett Gilbert against the nation's top defense,

And the Crimson Tide easily took advantage while their ongoing game took over the rest.

Alabama and Texas haven't faced each other in a regular season game since 1922—a full 100 years ago.

This match will be played on Saturday 10th September at 12 noon. Will air on ET and FOX.
