The Pittsburgh Steelers have been destroyed by injuries on Sunday afternoon.

Star receiver Dionte Johnson and star pass rusher T.J. Watts both left Sunday's preseason game against the Detroit Lions with injuries

and did not return. Watt injured his left knee, while Johnson injured his shoulder.

In the third quarter, safety Damonte Cazi fell down and was clutching his left wrist, another dust blown off.

He left the game in an air cast with his left hand.

This is the second safety injury the Steelers have had to deal with during the season.

Karl Josef had to move to reserve injured a few weeks ago

After hurting his ankle in Pittsburgh's first preseason game.

The team will be hoping that these three new injuries are not of long duration, especially since the regular season is only two weeks away.

The Steelers are currently thrashing the Detroit Lions 16-3 as the fourth quarter begins.
