Aaron Judge's pursuit of Roger Maris' AL home run record is complicated by the fact that many pitchers will
Rather let him then give him a chance to kill Homer.
But with the four-match series between the Yankees and the Boston Red Sox approaching,
Red Sox manager Alex Cora was asked if his team intends to run with Judge as recently as the Pittsburgh Pirates did.
Cora made it clear that his pitcher would not shy away from throwing the judge.
"We will attack him and the game will decide what we do," Cora said.
Some MLB fans doubt that Cora will actually keep her word.
But others expect the judges to pass on Maris for his 62nd home run of the season against the Red Sox:
"Let go. He's going to hit his 61st and 62nd homers against them,
Unless he lied in this quote," replied one user.
Another user joked, "The only thing that could make #62 better is the Red Sox pulling the old shillings out for the time being."
"Cora is a classy manager.
He won't get in the way of 61 and/or 62. At least I think so?" wrote a third.
There are 14 games left in the regular season, giving Aaron Judge enough at-bats to break the record.
There is also a slight chance that he will win the coveted Triple Crown.
Will the Red Sox pitch properly to do justice, or will they run as often as possible?
