Adrian Wojnarowski Reveals Potential Timeline For James Harden Contract

After reducing his $47.3 million option with the 76ers,

It is reported that Sixers guard James Harden is working on a deal with the team that will keep him in Philly.

Now, according to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski,

A Harden-Sixers contract could come down as soon as Wednesday.

You can expect Harden and his reps in Philly and Daryl Morey to actually sit down and make a deal here,

Maybe after the next 24 hours," Wojnarowski said on "Sports Center" on Tuesday.

Harden has reportedly been in contact with the Philadelphia brass about how they can put together a championship-level roster.

The Sixers have already hired free agents (and former Rockets) P.J. Has earned commitment from Tucker and Danielle House.

Now it's just a matter of closing the 10-time All-Star for a deal that gives Harden the long-term security he wants,

Leaving room for Philly to take steps to strengthen the team when needed.

James Harden is coming out of one of the hardest parts of his basketball career.

But there is hope that a full season of conditioning and recovery can give The Beard his fatal first step back.
