A five-star recruit is moving to Knoxville.

Fireworks broke out at the Tennessee football event this Monday.

Jonathan Echols, a five-star recruit in the 2024 cycle, announced on Twitter that he is committed to volunteering.

Echoes has yet to have a designated venue that he will play in Tennessee.

He is currently listed as both a wide receiver and a defensive end. It will be interesting to see what position he reaches.

Here's what Andrew Irwins had to say about the five-star athlete on 247Sports:

A kind of scout's dream. long and fast. Initially classified as an EDGE, but he has some position ambiguity to receive a snap at quarterback,

Tested exceptionally well in the winter after a season of sophistication, going 4.8 at nearly 6-foot-4, 215 pounds on lasers in a 40-yard dash.

Also posted a 4.5 in short shuttle to go with a 120-inch wide jump and 34-inch vertical jump.

Now owns a slim build, but should eventually add up to the massive given dimensions (81-inch wing span and 10-inch arm).

As a pass rusher, not only does he shine with a good get-off, but he also has the ability to bend while running into the corner.

Firing from a two-point stance feels most comfortable, but he has the feel of putting his hands in the dirt.

When it comes to his approach as a pass catcher, he has shown that he can pick up pieces of yardage once the ball is in his hands.

However, if he is going to create isolation on consecutive Saturdays, he should improve as a root runner.

If he's ever going to be positioned as an in-line blocker, he'll also need to learn how to anchor and find leverage.

To be seen as one of the top overall prospects in the class of 2024,

given his athletic profile and how he viewed the defense in IMG's 2022 spring scrimmage (multiple sacks total).

A near-happy spread offense has the potential to be successful as a slot tight end,

but the ceiling is probably as high as a 3-4 front edge, given its burst and length. NFL reverse.
