Watch: Dodgers Honor Vin Scully Before Friday’s Game
Recently, amazing telecaster Vin Scully died at 94 years old. On Friday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers respected him with a pregame service.
Dodgers supervisor Dave Roberts shared a few wonderful words for Scully before the game began. He finished with his discourse with Scully’s well known line: “It’s the ideal opportunity for Dodger baseball.”
Roberts then, at that point, asked the fans at Dodger Stadium to yell Scully’s notable line together.
It was an endearing scene that may very well make you shed a tear.
Following the Dodgers’ triumph on Friday night, Roberts communicated his appreciation for Scully.
“Vin, as he’s peering down on us at the present time, indeed, he detested the focus on him,” Roberts said, through ESPN. “Indeed, this will be an entirely awkward second at the present time, yet he merits it. Vin was a man of character and honesty and class, a genuine man of honor. He wasn’t simply a Dodger. He adored the sport of baseball that we as a whole love and care about.“
The Dodgers will attempt their absolute best to come out on top for a World Series championship to pay tribute to Scully this season.
