The Buffalo Bills are getting a significant offensive boost ahead of their Divisional Round matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend.
Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie, who missed the Bills’ wild card win with a hamstring injury, was a full participant during Wednesday’s practice session.
According to ESPN NFL, he will take the field against the Bengals this weekendInsider Adam Schefter.
Most Bills fans who have responded to the news seem happy with the team’s wide receiver position without McKenzie on the field.
Late-round rookie Khaleel Shakir and recently added veteran Cole Beasley stepped up in McKenzie’s absence last weekend.
One fan wrote, “He shouldn’t be watching the field at all. Shakir is better.”
“Noooo. More Shakir or Bez. Enough is enough this man,” said another.
Another said, “Bench him and put Shakir in. Much better.”
McKenzie was strange during his time on the field in 2022. In some games he would provide significant offensive production for the Bills – others he would be a complete failure.
It will certainly be interesting to see how Bill handles his tertiary wide receiver position with McKenzie back in the mix.
