When Tony Romo first entered the broadcasting booth at CBS, he was basically immediately viewed as a potential all-time great. Viewers loved his enthusiasm, his ability to predict games, and the elevation of Jim Nantz.
But several seasons into his broadcast career, more and more viewers are now liking Romeo.
“However, something happened in the intervening years, and in the eyes of many, Romo’s stock is falling precipitously this season. The former Cowboys quarterback wowed spectators with his performance during Sunday’s NFL playoff showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. Continued to disappoint.” writes the eerie announcement.
There are still plenty of Romo supporters, and there can be ups and downs in this sort of thing, but what has happened is a bit strange.
One fan wrote, “When he first started he was very good at predicting plays before the snap. I don’t know if it was because he had a lot of intelligence from his playing days but lately it seems is like he’s calling it.”
“She’s brilliant,” said one fan.
Another fan wrote, “It’s like listening to a 5-year-old who’s been eating candy for an hour.”
“Jim!!!!! Oooooooooh I don’t know Jim!!!!! Mayyyebe????? one fan joked.
Is Romeo Struggling Or Is It Just Social Media Domination?
