Seattle came back from a seven-run deficit to author the second-highest comeback in MLB playoff history.

Fans gave their reaction on the amazing feat on social media.

“The MLB Playoffs first started 119 years ago. This was only the third time a team went under 7+ runs!!”  Sports Center tweeted.

The b/r walk-off said, “The Mariners shock the Jays and come down to seven to advance to the ALDS…they will head to Houston to take on the Astros.”

  “ALDS Bound. #EmbraceTheChaos.”

“The last time the Mariners won a playoff series, George Kirby was three years old,” commented ESPN’s Mina Kims.  “Play!”

SB Nation said, “The Mariners were down 8–1 in sixth and came back to beat Toronto to advance to the ALDS … this is the biggest comeback in MLB post-season history by a road team.”

“They did it!! Kirby did it! Frazier did it! The Mariners freakin’ did it!!!! Playoff baseball is coming back to Seattle this coming week!!!”  The acclaimed Seahawks beat out writer Greg Bell.  “very nice!”

  Of course, it’s cute.
