Michael Vick made a controversial announcement prior to the wild card round of the NFL playoffs.
The former Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback believes Lamar Jackson should play despite his knee injury.
“Put a tightrope on it. Let’s go.”
Vick’s pre-game message to Jackson, who is not expected to play, has gone viral.
It’s a controversial message, to say the least.
One fan wrote, “If he had a guaranteed contract he probably would have.”
One fan said, “I respect Mike Vick, but if the Ravens don’t put Lamar first they have to chill with this tech, they shouldn’t put him first simple enough to treat others the same way as your wish.”
“So he should risk his perfect health for a team that doesn’t want to pay him? Hmmph,” said one fan.
One fan said, “Wonder what happened to RGIII when he” reined in him. Maybe he’ll speak on that later.
Is Michael Vick out of bounds?
