Lakers superstar LeBron James had Shannon Sharpe’s back after Friday night’s brawl with Dillon Brooks and the Grizzlies and it continued instagram today.
On social media, King posted a picture of the Hall of Fame with the caption: “If ‘I Wish A Muthf#ck* Would’ Was A Person! Mood… Unk Vibes!”
James was asked directly after the game about Brooks’ comments and gave Sharpe his full support.
“I ride with Shannon 365 days a year — 366 on a leap year — 24/7. So that’s my boy,” LeBron told reporters. “I always got his back and he mine. He can talk to the best of them, for sure.”
The FS1 personality and “Undisputed” co-host had a lot to say to ESPN about the back-and-forth. Telling the network that nobody wanted these problems on the Grizzlies.
They didn’t want this smoke. They do all that talking and joking and I’m not about to jockey. It started with Dillon Brooks. I said he was too young to guard LeBron. He said ‘f-k’ me I said, ‘f-k’ you back. He started coming to me and I said, ‘You don’t want these problems.’ And only then came out talking from somewhere. He definitely didn’t want these problems. Then Dad came over and apparently he didn’t want any trouble. But I wanted anything they had. Now don’t let these fools fool you.
Brooks has since called Sharp a “blogger” and “regular pedestrian”.
